Burton Joyce Community Church is a joint project of the United Reformed and Methodist congregations. We meet in what was previously the Methodist church on the corner of Meadow Lane. We are a fellowship rooted and grounded in the love of Christ convinced that, since God loves everyone without distinction, we should do the same.

A bit more background

Burton Joyce Community Church came into being on the 7th June 2014 as a local ecumenical project.

With a regular congregation of about thirty, we are mostly elderly at present but would love to be younger! (If you are young, come along and join us. We would love to see you.) We work with the other churches in the village, share united services and support each other in community work. We are considering new ways of doing church - including family services and messy church - and from the beginning of March 2017 we are introducing a DIY service into our regular pattern of worship: the first Sunday of each month for a trial period.

We do all we can to stay aware of the needs of the community and respond effectively.
